Hi everyone.
We really want to thank all of you that participate and help make this site a success. The people in the communities also appreciate your help. The number of clients has increased over 40% in the last year. The recent inflation has increased our cost substantially in order to continue providing food, dairy, diapers, clothing, and financial assistance.
In 2021 we gave out over 240,000 pounds of food and spent over $84,000 just in utility assistance and rent evictions. So far, in 2022 (just in the first six months ) we were able to assist with over $30,000 for rent and utilities. So, as you can see, this Pandemic has been a slow recovery, is far from over and so many people still need our help.
The money we raise here with the “shop” and the “auctions” help us cover some of these additional costs.
